Hello everyone, I'm Renu from the house of loyalist. Today I'm going to present my speech on the topic of  " Research lab ".

  " Research is  to see what everybody else has seen, and to thought what nobody else has thought. 

A Research lab is a facility that provides controller conditions in which scientific or technological research, experiments and measurements may be performed. 

Pythagoras of Samas invented research labs. The earliest laboratory according to the present evidence is a home laboratory of Pythagoras of Samos, the well-known Greek philosopher and scientist. This laboratory was created when Pythagoras conducted an experiment about tones of sound and vibration of strings. 

       When was labs invented

Since laboratories were introduced in the late 1800s, the goals of high school science education have changed.

 

      Importance of the labs

Research labs plays an crucial role in every field . They are very much important. We have different types of Research labs for different activities and different purposes.... Like Analytical and Quality labs, Biosafety labs, cleanrooms, Clinical and medical labs, Incubator labs, Productions labs and Research and Development labs. Research laboratories are workplaces for the conduct of scientific research.

Research has shown that students who engage in well-designed laboratory experiences develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, as well as gain exposure to reactions, materials, and equipment in a lab setting.

          Purpose of these labs

To familiarize students with experimental apparatus, the scientific method, and methods of data analysis so that they will have some idea of the inductive process by which the ideas were originated. To teach how to make careful experimental observations and how to think about and draw conclusions from such data.

       Benefits for students 

There are numerous benefits for undergraduate students who get involved in research. Research experience allows undergraduate students to better understand published works, learn to balance collaborative and individual work, determine an area of interest, and jump start their careers as researchers.

Research also helps in daily life as research is not only an invaluable tool  for building on crucial knowledge, it's also the most reliable way we can begin to understand the complexities of various issues; to maintain our integrity as we disprove lies and uphold important truths; to serve as the seed for analysing convoluted sets of data.

We also have many live examples of researches in different fields. Some are successful and some not. 

I would like to present one example of  Banduro et Al.

Banduro et Al conducted an experiment using a Bobo doll. They found children imitated the aggressive behavior towards the doll once they had adults witnessed acting violents towards it. There was a risk of psychological harm to the children during this research and also the experiment isn't very valid. For example, the Bobo doll designed to invite violence so this bears little relation to everyday reality.
